Empowering people with special needs

Capital Governorate is keen to organize programs and events that target the community, as part of its endeavor to involve all individuals in its programs and activities in order to achieve comprehensive development goals, and come within the framework of activating the principle of partnership. From this point of view, the need for the energy of special needs began for people with special needs (people with determination) with the aim of activating their role in their role in society, and provide with the aspiration they need.

Women Empowerment

Capital Governorate seeks to support and empower women, as initiatives have been identified that contribute to the advancement of women in various fields, and in a manner that ensures the integration of their needs into the development path.

e-Services and digital transformation

The Capital Governorate has developed an integrated strategic plan in order to transform the services it provides to citizens and residents into E-services. The main objectives include the following:

Partnership with UN

The Capital Governorate is considered one of the key partners to the United Nations Resident Coordinator Office in Bahrain. The foundation of this partnership is the joint endeavor to support the various development programmes and community initiatives at the Governorate to be geared towards the achievement of the sustainable development goals.

Combating Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the Kingdom of Bahrain has taken proactive steps to confront the spread of the new Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Team Bahrain has adopted an extraordinary approach in managing this health crisis and dealing with its adverse effects.
