On February, during a private ceremony, the eminent 5-star Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain resort received the 2017 award for best creative direction of a commercial and public buildings in the Capital Governorate of Bahrain. Winning the prestigious award for the seventh time, the award celebrates the artistic achievements of the annual National Day lighting competition held each December 16th. The 2017 grand lighting display featured a cascade of blue, white and red building lights over the 245-room resort, complemented by a floating garden design made of 114,000 meters of white and pink wisteria flowers and salmon pink hydrangea garlands, illuminated by 12,000 meters of sparkling fairy lights.

During the ceremony, His Excellency Sheikh Hisham bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate, handed over the first prize to General Manager, Mr. Jean-Paul Dantil.
